Apply for a Grant from Chalk It Up!

Our Chalk It Up Grant Program offers grants to schools and programs to support youth arts education. Chalk It Up Grants typically purchase much-needed art supplies while allowing teachers and students to explore new mediums or embark on special projects.

NEW FOR 2025: Art Supply Stock-Up Grant!

This is for teachers and schools that don't have a particular project in mind but just need some funding to restock their art supply closets.

Grant applications are accepted throughout the year.
Grants are awarded twice yearly - in January/February and August/September.
Chalk It Up Grants are awarded locally within the greater Sacramento Valley region, including Sacramento, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Roseville, West Sacramento, etc.
Applicants from outside the Sacramento Valley region will not be considered.
Preference will be given to public TK-12 schools.
